The latest version of Nvu [1.0] has just been released... Nvu (stands for "New View") is an open source project, developed from Mozilla's Composer. With a "WYSIWYG" (What You See Is What You Get) interface, you can design web pages quickly while Nvu does the coding for you
Perfect for beginners - if you can position text & pictures within an e-mail, you've already got the skills needed to get started with Nvu. It's also an excellent tool for learning how to code for the web - you can switch between the WYSIWYG & code modes, and see how your editing translates into HTML. More advanced webmasters can access the code & modify with XML, CSS, Javascript, etc. Includes file management via FTP for easy publishing to the web
